Visit us from 06 to 10/15/2023 in the Agribusiness sector at the Tancredo Neves Chapecó Exhibition Park – SC

During Efapi 2023, the Chapecó Deaf Association worked every day voluntarily with translation and interpretation services to guarantee deaf people the right to communicate in Libras and access to the fair.

There were an average of 50 services per day carried out by the Libras Interpreters Translators from the Association's Interpreter Center. In addition to providing services to deaf people, the professionals also collaborated in interpreting the opening of the fair and in lectures held at the Parque Desbravalley Knowledge Stage.

One of the people who received this support was Veronice Rosana Clamer, a resident of the São Cristóvão neighborhood in Chapecó. She visited the crafts pavilion accompanied by interpreter Natalyê Fonseca Miranda. This support during the visit was important to her. “I always go to Efapi and having this support is important to be able to talk to people and answer their questions,” he said.

These actions had the support of teams from the Department of Education, Association of the Deaf of Chapecó, Association of the Visually Impaired of Western Santa Catarina (Adevosc), Municipal Council for People with Disabilities and Cidade do Idoso.
